1. What is the JITO Canada Startup Program?
The JITO Canada Startup Program is an initiative designed to support and mentor aspiring entrepreneurs by providing resources, networking opportunities, and guidance to help them develop their business ideas into marketable products.
2. Who can participate in the program?
Any JITO Canada member who is interested in entrepreneurship, has a startup idea, or wants to develop an innovative product can apply for the program.
3. How can I register for the program?
Interested participants can register on jitocanada.org/startup by filling out the application form.
4. What are the selection criteria for participants?
The selection process is based on:
The stage of the idea or startup
The viability of the business concept
The resources needed to develop the idea
A first-come, first-served basis (limited seats available)
5. What is the structure of the mentorship program?
The program will run from March 15 to May 15 and includes:
Cohort-based mentorship
Weekly guidance sessions
Resource sharing and networking opportunities
Investor pitch day
6. Will participants receive funding?
While the program does not guarantee funding, selected participants will have opportunities to pitch their startups to investors and industry leaders.
7. How will confidentiality be maintained for startup ideas?
All selected participants will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to ensure the confidentiality of their ideas and business plans.
8. How can I become a mentor or investor in the program?

9. What are the next steps after registration?
Registered participants will be invited for a follow-up Zoom call to discuss their ideas in detail.
Selected participants will be placed into cohort groups by March 15.
Mentorship sessions will begin on March 21.
Investor forums and networking summits will be scheduled in the coming weeks.
10. Can I promote this program within my network?
Yes! Attendees are encouraged to share information about the JITO Canada Startup Program within their networks to encourage wider participation.
